Why is He Still Here??

Pray tell.....why is Eric Holder still occupying his chair as U.S. Attorney General? He is ultimately responsible (the buck stops here) for the gun-running fiasco known as "Fast & Furious." He lied to Congress under oath about his knowledge of the operation, a criminal offense...ask Baseball's Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds. He needs to go...he needs to be prosecuted.

The Yay-hoos in D.C. Have Done it Again...

Well...surprise, surprise!! The so-called "Super Committee" failed to reach an agreement on cutting $1.2 trillion in spending over the next ten years. Surprise, surprise! Who in heaven, who in hell, or who on earth thought they would ever do it anyway?! It was a joke from the start and remains a joke today. Frankly it was a ploy for our magnanimous ruler to once again pass the buck so he wouldn't have to get involved in doing what a President should do...govern. After all, we have vacations to take and golf to play. And since when do we need twelve members of Congress to do this job. Don't we have 535 members we elect to do just this same thing as part of their job? Hell, let's get rid of the other 523 and let the twelve handle everything. We'd save alot of money. Dumb idea. If they can't handle this, they couldn't handle anything else. It takes all 535  of them to screw things up.
Oh, these twelve yahoo's (pronounced 'yay-hoos) from the House and Senate, Dems and GOPers comprising the Super Committee will blame each other. That game has already started. And now cuts called triggers will automatically go into affect cutting things we don't want them to be cut.
This country is $15 trillion dollars, and counting, in debt. If they can't find $1.2 trillion to cut, we are in alot of trouble all because of politics. It's time to clean house, completely, send a new bunch up there with a mandate to balance the budget, cut spending, lower taxes.......with TERM LIMITS....

Pot Calling The Kettle Black

Noticed that the House of Representatives voted this week on and failed to pass (not surprising) a balanced budget amendment to the constitution. Vote was along party lines with 4 republicans jumping ship and win the weeks RINO award. But the comment of the week comes from the second-ranking Democrat, Steny Hoyer of Maryland, who voted for the amendment in 1995 but said the situation has vastly changed since then. "Republicans have been fiscally reckless," What!!?? Mr. Hoyer, where in hell have you been the last three years!? We are $15 trillion in debt, massive unemployment, yours truly included, housing in the toilet, gas prices on the rise (again), a health care plan that wreaks of socialism and no relief in sight. All this under the banner of the Democrats and it's Campaigner in Chief, Barack Hussein Obama...look in the mirror and you will see the epitome of whom is "fiscally reckless!"

LOL At The Occupy (enter city name here) Mobs

LOL....all the goofs parading around city streets ( Occupy {enter city name here} )  ranting and raving about........hell, 80% of them have no clue why they're out there. Supposedly they are upset with "Wall Street" and "corporate greed." Again we have to LOL...as they march in clothes made by the companies they despise, take pictures of themselves and text friends about their exploits on the smart phones invented by tech companies they rail against......well, Andy Marlette, cartoonist for the Pensacola News Journal said it best:

Thank you, Andy....you are a Master.
This mob has no clue, and the union goons and thugs are  backing them...along with our President, who, in his news conference earlier in the week (10/6/2011) gave them his blessing. Some have said the White House is behind this nonsense...the President's latest re-election panic ploy to get Americans to agree with him that free enterprise is a bad thing....sorry, Mr. P....we're to smart fall for that.
The Occupy (enter city name here) mob thinks they are going to become the liberal answer to the conservative Tea Party Movement. Here again, 80% (probably a conservative number) don't know why the hell they're out there. How could they possibly become anything?...LOL.

Obama's Recklessness Strikes Again

Along with destroying the housing market, the jobs market and the economy as a whole, now President Obama is laying the ground work to destroy Social Security, a program already in trouble. His new jobs bill ( destined to be the third failed stimulus bill of his administration) totals $447 billion dollars. He proposes to pay for a hefty portion of it through tax cuts (although there are numerous tax HIKES scattered throughout the bill) in the payroll tax. This means cutting social security (FICA) taxes, which in turn means less revenue coming into the already troubled fund to the tune of $240 billion dollars for 2012. He tells us he would replenish this fund through the overall federal budget which would force the government to borrow more money, thus increasing the already bloated federal debt. Either way, we lose...ya gotta love it!

Obama's Real Energy Policy

Oil Drilling Moratorium Costing Government Billions

The Obama administration’s moratorium on offshore drilling is depriving governments of billions of dollars in royalties, lease bids, and taxes — and the lost revenue will grow significantly if no new drilling leases in the Gulf of Mexico are sold this year.

In the wake of the April 20, 2010 explosion of the Deepwater Horizon rig, the administration issued the moratorium on May 6. It suspended work on 33 wells in various stages of construction, halted new lease sales, and suspended permitting for leases already offered.

As a result, the U.S. Energy Information Administration projects a decline of 240,000 barrels a day in oil production in the Gulf this year. “That represents billions of dollars in potential revenue that could help close the federal deficit,” according to Rob Bluey, director of the Center for Media and Public Policy at the Heritage Foundation.

The moratorium was lifted on Oct. 12, but since then oil companies have complained of a “permitorium” — a deliberate slowing of the permitting process.

This year could be the first since 1965 in which the federal government did not sell leases in the Gulf.

Oil companies pay the federal government an 18.75 percent royalty on the oil produced. In 2008, the offshore industry paid $8.3 billion in royalties, and another $9.4 billion for bids on new leases. Last year those bids brought in just $979 million.

In 2009, royalties, lease bids and rent payments totaled more than $6 billion, according to the forecasting firm IHS Global Insight.

“Federal, state and local taxes related to the offshore oil and gas operations in the Gulf totaled $13 billion,” Bluey notes. “That $19 billion pot of money could go a long way toward deficit reduction.”

In addition, opening areas now closed to exploration and production, including the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the eastern Gulf of Mexico, would bring in an estimated $150 billion by 2025.

“At a time when voters are calling on the federal government to balance its budget, revenue from oil companies would be one way of helping out [and] the oil produced would reduce the price of gas at the pump,” Bluey concludes.

“The Obama administration should immediately begin to issue new permits for the Gulf of Mexico and explore other untapped domestic resources.”

AARP'S FALL FROM GRACE

Wow!!!! Have you seen this?!

This letter was sent to Mr. Rand, who is the Executive Director of AARP

Dear Mr. Rand,

Recently you sent us a letter encouraging us to renew our lapsed membership in AARP by the requested date. I know this is not what you were looking for, but this is the most honest response I can give you. Our gap in coverage is merely a microscopic symptom of the real problem, which is deepening lack of faith.

While we have proudly maintained our membership for several years and have long admired the AARP goals and principles -- regrettably, we can no longer endorse AARP's abdication of our values. Your letter specifically stated that we can count on AARP to speak up for our rights; yet the voice we hear is not ours. Your offer of being kept up to date on important issues through DIVIDED WE FAIL presents neither an impartial view nor the one we have come to embrace. We do believe that when two parties agree all the time on everything presented to them, one is probably not needed. But, when the opinions and long term goals are diametrically opposed, the divorce is imminent. This is the philosophy which spawned our 200 years of government.

Once upon a time we looked forward to being part of the senior demographic. We also looked to AARP to provide certain benefits and give our voice a power we could not possibly hope to achieve on our own. AARP gave us a sense of belonging -- a sense we no longer enjoy. The Socialist politics practiced by the Obama Regime and empowered by AARP serves only to raise the very blood pressure that my medical care strives to contain -- clearly a conflict of interest there!

We do not understand the AARP posture; we feel greatly betrayed by the guiding forces that we expected to map out our senior years. We leave your ranks with a great sense of regret. We mitigate that disappointment with the relief of knowing that we are not contributing to the problem anymore by renewing our membership. There are numerous other organizations which offer discounts without threatening our way of life or offending our sensibilities.

This Obama Regime scares the living daylights out of us; not just for ourselves, but for our proud and bloodstained heritage; and even more importantly, for our children and grandchildren. Washington has rendered Soylent Green a prophetic cautionary tale rather than a nonfiction scare tactic. I have never in my life endorsed any militant or radical groups, yet now I find myself listening to them. I don’t have to agree with them to appreciate the fear which birthed their existence. Their borderline insanity presents little more than a balance to the voice of the Socialist mindset in power. Perhaps I became American by a great stroke of luck in some cosmic uterine lottery; but in my adulthood I CHOOSE to embrace it and nurture the freedoms it represents as well as the responsibilities that it requires.

Your Website generously offers us the opportunity to receive all communication in Spanish. ARE YOU KIDDING? The illegal perpetrators have broken into our 'house,' have invaded our home with not our invitation or consent. The President has insisted we keep these illegal perpetrators in comfort and learn the perpetrators' language so we can communicate our reluctant welcome to them.

I DON'T choose to welcome them.
I DON’T choose to support them.
I DON'T choose to educate them.
I DON'T choose to medicate them.
I DON'T choose to pay to feed or clothe them.

American home invaders get arrested. Please explain to me why foreign lawbreakers can enjoy privileges on American soil that Americans do not get. Why do some immigrants have to 'play the game' to be welcomed while others have merely to 'break & enter to be welcomed?

We travel for a living. Walt hauls horses all over this great Country, averaging over 10,000 miles a month when he is out there. He meets more people than a politician on caffeine overdose. Of all the many good folks he enjoyed on this last 10,000 miles, this trip yielded only ONE supporter of the current Regime. One of us is out of touch with mainstream America. Since our poll is conducted without funding, I have more faith in it than ones that are driven by a need to yield AMNESTY. (AKA - make voters out of the foreign lawbreakers so they can vote to continue the Government’s free handouts). This addition of 10 to 20 Million voters who then will vote to continue Socialism will OVERWHELM our votes to control the Government’s free handouts. It is a “slippery slope” we must not embark on!

As Margret Thatcher (former Prime Minister of Great Britain) once said “Socialism is GREAT - UNTIL you run out of other people’s money!”

I am disappointed as hell.
I am scared as hell.
I am ANGRY!
I am MAD as hell, and I'm NOT going to take it anymore!

Let's Lay the Blame where it Belongs

If the government shuts down at midnight tomorrow, make no mistake, the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of President Obama and Senator Harry Reid. Last fall, and prior to the elections, the Democrats owned the House, Senate and the Presidency. It was their responsibilty to formulate and pass a budget. They failed in that endeavor. Had they done their job, they would have had the budget they wanted, continuing to spend the country into bankruptcy. What they failed to see was that the country was getting fed up with the President's out of control spending and thus, the House, through the elections was given to the Republicans, who campaigned on reigning in the spending and reducing the size of government.
The Republicans have put forth a bill to continue government operations for another week while the negotiations on the budget continue. Because the bill contains $12 Billion in cuts (a drop in the bucket when compared to the $14 Trillion Obama debt) the Democrats are willing to shut down the government.
The bill also contains funding the the military for six months. The President has called the bill a "distraction" and promises to veto the it. Alas, Mr.Obama regards our troops a distraction.
While the media will blame the GOP, make no mistake who is really to blame for any government shutdown.
