Facebook Censors Navy SEALS to Protect Obama on Benghazi-Gate

Popular social media giant Facebook is showing its true colors by censoring the Navy Seals to protect our inept Commander in Chief. The following was posted by AWR Hawkins on www.breitbart.com/

Over the weekend, Facebook took down a message by the Special Operations Speaks PAC (SOS) which highlighted the fact that Obama denied backup to the forces being overrun in Benghazi.

The message was contained in a meme which demonstrated how Obama had relied on the SEALS when he was ready to let them get Osama bin Laden, and how he had turned around and denied them when they called for backup on Sept 11.
I spoke with Larry Ward, president of Political Media, Inc -- the media company that handles SOS postings and media production. Ward was the one who personally put the Navy SEAL meme up, and the one who received the warning from Facebook and an eventual 24 hour suspension from Facebook because Ward put the meme back up after Facebook told him to take it down.
Here's what Ward told me:

We created and posted this meme on Saturday after news broke that Obama had known and denied SEALS the backup they requested.
Once the meme was up it garnered 30,000 shares, approx. 24,000 likes, and was read by hundreds of thousands of people -- all within 24 hrs. On Sunday, I went into the SOS Facebook page to post something else and found a warning from Facebook that we had violated Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities with our meme. So I copied the warning, put it on the meme as as caption, and re-posted the meme to the Facebook page.

Along with the re-posted meme, Ward put a link to the Facebook "feedback comment" inbox so visitors to the SOS page could send a message to Facebook if they were as outraged over the meme being jerked down as he was.

 Ward said Facebook pulled the re-posted meme down within 7 or 8 hours and suspended the SOS account for 24 hours.

In other words, Facebook put the Navy SEALS in timeout in order to shield Obama.

BOMBSHELL: Clinton Said Yes - Obama Said No ( To Benghazi Security)

 The terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya takes on new twists and turns with each passing day. The president and his administration continue to try and distance themselves from the facts, an obvious ploy because the election is just days away. Information that has come out in the last two weeks places 

responsibility for Benghazi at the president's door step. Some say this is worse than the Watergate debacle during the Nixon years.
President Obama continues to downplay
the situation saying in a recent radio interview, "The election has nothing to do with the four brave Americans getting killed and us wanting to find out exactly what happened." He is wrong! He is the Commander in Chief, and he enjoys reminding us of that. 
The fact is incidents like this define a Commander in Chief, and in this case Mr. Obama is a failure. He continues to avoid questions as to what he knew and when he knew it  despite real-time reports on the ground being fed to the White House situation room, indicating they knew from the first hour it was a planned terrorist attack and not spontaneous as the administration led us to believe. To this day, the president has yet to call it what it was...a terrorist attack.
And now this...a bombshell about the lack of security in Benghazi. An eye-opener if true...could it bring down the presidency?

President Obama and Gov. Romney appeared this week on the same stage at the Alfred E. Smith Dinner in New York. President Obama and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney gave keynote speeches at the 67th Annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner. The fundraiser, held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, offers a light-hearted evening for the candidates.


Founded in 1946 by Francis Cardinal Spellman, the Foundation honors the memory of Alfred E. Smith who died in in 1944. Smith was a four-time governor of the state of New York and former presidential candidate.

Media Bias Alert on the Fashion Front

Media bias once again rears it's ugly head (are we surprised?)

Flashback to the second presidential debate and what we didn't see was a fashion show of sorts. The first lady, Michelle Obama, and the first lady wannabe, Ann Romney, were decked out in pink. One would think they did what women do...called each other to see what the other was wearing to the big bash. Not the case here. Both women were wearing pink highlighting  Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The big news here is, if you were reading US Weekly, was their headline,  "Ann Romney Wears $1,690 Oscar de la Renta Dress to Presidential Debate." The hit here was to highlight President Obama's worn-out references to the Romney's wealth. Absent from the headline was Michelle Obama's rags and price tag. US Weekly reported in the story that the first lady was wearing...." a shift dress and cropped jacket from Michael Kors' 2013 resort collection. The dress retails for $1,795 and the jacket is $1,495."  Do the math...Michelle's outfit, dress and jacket together, totaled $3,290. Ann Romney was a pauper in her $1,690 rags, but US Weekly, showed their liberal bias, headlined Mrs. Romney's wardrobe to give the impression of her extravagance. Shameful.

Crowley - Media Bias on Display

As is true with all liberal leaning media types, CNN's Candy Crowley likes to refer to herself as a professional journalist. Sadly, she is nothing of the sort. She and her ilk are nothing more than surrogates for left wing liberal politicians. Ms. Crowley showed her true stripes as moderator during Tuesday's presidential debate. Her job was simply to keep the debate running on schedule and according to format...nothing more. Ms. Crowley, unfortunately, decided to inject herself into the debate as a partisan participant. We should have seen this coming. Crowley had previously made public her intent to be more than just a moderator.....

Hillary Falls on the Sword!

Knowing Hillary Clinton's strong, no nonsense personality, you have to wonder how hard Mr. Obama had to twist her arm to take the blame for the debacle in Libya last month. Mrs. Clinton, saying the blame stops with her at the State Department, has been thrown under the bus by the Administration.

 The Obama clan has been dancing all around who knew what and when the night of the incident in which the U.S ambassador to Libya and three others were killed, the smell of a cover-up. Some have said this is worse than Watergate during the Richard Nixon presidency (no one died during Watergate).

Forcing Mrs. Clinton to fall on the sword in an effort to take the blame away from where it belongs (everything stops with the president), may be seen as election year politics to save the boss's job...strange, though, it was done the night before Obama faces off again against Mitt Romney in the second presidential debate. Knowing that Romney would pound him about the administration's failure to handle the situation, President Obama, as usual, has someone to blame....sound familiar?

One can only wonder what this does for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential aspirations...also, and maybe more importantly, what does Bill think of this? Hmmmm.....

The Big Bird Fiasco

Sesame Street's Big BIrd

Our friends at Sesame Street are asking the Obama campaign to pull down a TV ad released Tuesday that mocks Mitt Romney for vowing to take away the subsidy to PBS.
At the presidential debate in Denver last week, Mr. Romney said he would end the subsidy in view of the nation’s fiscal troubles.
“I love Big Bird,” the Republican challenger said “… But I’m not going to keep on spending money on things to borrow money from China to pay for.”

Mr. Romney is right. This is a good example of things this country can no longer afford. Besides, and few Americans know this, we taxpayers subsidize the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and the home to Sesame Street, to the tune of $445 Million. On top of that Sesame Street markets Big Bird and all the Sesame Street characters through stuffed animals, toys, DVD's, coloring books just to name a few. Sesame Street  and PBS market profits from Big Bird and company is somewhere in the nature of $50 Million. None of this comes back to the taxpayers.

If you have small kids who are now shedding tears that Big Bird, Elmo, The Count and friends will disappear from their TV screens should Romney become president, fear not. The Christian Science Monitor points out today on its website ( http://www.csmonitor.com/ )only about 12 percent of PBS’s funding comes from the government subsidy. 60 percent, meanwhile, comes from private donors and grants as well as dues paid by PBS’s 350-plus member stations. 

Eliminating the government payout will not doom PBS or Sesame Street which is only one program. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting which funds PBS and National Public Radio received the $445 million from the 2012 federal budget. It is only about 1/100th of the total U.S. budget. And while $445 million seems a drop in the budget bucket, $445 million would go a long way in in other areas.....like it back in Medicare to at least make up a small part of the $714 billion Mr. Obama is stealing from that program to help pay for Obamacare.

The VP Debate: Mr.Cool vs. The Clown (not hard to tell which is which)

                   
The Vice-Presidential Debate, featuring Rep. Paul Ryan and the current Vice-President (and now our National Embarrassment), Joe Biden.
Now, despite his off base political leanings, I like ole' Joe. Always have. He speaks his mind, often says things he probably shouldn't (foot-in-mouth disease), is a bright man who has served his country for many years and by all accounts is a good family man and good person......he has provided us many years of comic relief......BUT, Joe, you screwed up big time at your one and only debate this election cycle. While it's debatable who won tonight's debate as you were on point with your talking points, etc., you did yourself and your party no favors by your attitude.
Without a doubt you turned a lot of people off and maybe many needed votes by your childish smirking, laughing, and rude condescension toward your opponent, Paul Ryan. While you are the Vice-President you acted extremely un-vice-presidential. Mr. Ryan, on the other hand, was cool and calm and displayed a demeanor worthy of a vice president. Come on , Joe...you're a better man than that....you can be the clown, as you always have been....but tonight the world was watching......don't embarrass us!

Obama's Broken Promises

As we head into the final turn of Election 2012 with the debates now underway, we look back at the promises President Obama made in his first term....and their results.

Promise #1
*The stimulus will prevent unemployment from rising above 8%, and will fall to 5.6% by 2012.

This promise was presented on page 4 of the President’s January 2009 stimulus report. Of course, we know how this turned out. But it’s more than the abysmal unemployment numbers. The president added insult to injury by cooking the results of his failed “stimulus.” A $4.3 billion federal funding program for 36 wind farms still claims to have created 7,200 jobs. But when The Wall Street Journal went to all those projects in February, they found that they employed only 300 people. And speaking of “green projects,” how can we fail to mention….

Promise #2
*Solyndra, “leading the way toward a brighter and more prosperous future.”

About $535 million of your tax dollars were wasted on this white elephant. While the nation struggled through high unemployment and falling real wages, your tax money subsidized huge salaries, financial protection for the president’s investor friends, and a glass palace filled with expensive, modern art and steam rooms that are now on the chopping block. While there are at least a dozen other “green” failures like this one, Solyndra was supposed to be his shining example of a government-directed “New World” economy. Of course, the president denies that he favors just green energy, claiming…

Promise #3
*”I’m committed to an all-of-the-above energy program."

Except for all of the ones that actually work, like cleaner-burning coal, offshore oil and gas drilling and fracking for gas and shale oil, a process that has led to unemployment rates of less than 3% in North Dakota. But while an energy-friendly president could help us become energy self-sufficient and create jobs without spending a dime of taxpayer money, this president was too busy pushing through...

Promise #4
* Obamacare, which “…won’t add another dime to the deficit.”

Any sixth grader could have told you that adding 30 million people to the insurance roles could not be done for free. Far too late, the CBO and others have figured out that the price tag for Obamacare will actually be in the trillions. And speaking of Obamacare, remember these:

Promise #5
* ”Health premiums will go down $2,500 by the end of my first term.”

In fact, the Kaiser Family Foundation recently found that health premiums have gone up $3,000 since President Obama was in office.

Promise #6
*Under Obamacare “you will keep your health insurance. This law will only make it more secure and more affordable.”

But as the CBO has pointed out, many employers will find it cheaper to drop their health plans, pay a fine and leave the coverage up to the government, which costs taxpayers more money and forces the insured onto some as-yet-unknown type of coverage.

Promise #7
* "My goal is to strengthen and preserve Medicare."

In fact, Obamacare cuts about $716 billion from Medicare over 10 years. While the economy will be center stage, there may be room for at least one promise Obama made about our standing in the world:

Promise #8
* "Since my election…you're starting to see some restoration of America's standing in the world."

After recent events in the Mideast, does anyone really think that our standing in the Arab world is stronger than it was? The Muslim world respects strength, not vacillation, and certainly not an apologist.
If Gov. Romney focuses on the theme of broken promises, he can always end by reminding him of the following promise made early on:

Promise #9
*  "If I don’t fix the economy in three years, then I’ll be a one-term president"

To which Mr. Romney can say: “Mr. President, this is one promise I’m determined to help you keep.”
