Obama, Clinton, Gingrich and GOD

President Obama left the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC telling us all he can fix the country's woes and he deserved another four years to get it done. Republicans say he has had four years to get us at least started on the right track, but instead we are going in the opposite direction and why should we believe the next four years under an Obama stewardship would be any different. Review the chart below and ask yourself, "Do we really need four more years of this?"

As of this writing the unemployment rate has dropped to 8.1% in August but that was because more people  stopped looking for work. The government only counts those unemployed people who are actually looking for work. This is a fallacy because people who stopped looking are still unemployed.

Deja Vu...1994...Bill Clinton was in the first term of his presidency and we were subject to "Hillarycare," so named for the first lady because she was ramrodding the administration's own version of today's debacle we loving call "Obamacare." Hillarycare failed miserably and it, along with several other issues Clinton and his liberal friends were stonewalling on, resulted in the Republicans capturing the House of Representatives in the mid-term elections. New House Speaker Newt Gingrich and the Republicans put forth a "Contract with America," calling for, among other things, a balanced budget and welfare reform....

Yes, Bill has always taken the credit, as recently as his speech at this years' Democratic Convention. Truth is, he was forced to move to the center and work with the Republicans.
Fast forward to to the most recent mid-terms...again, the Republicans captured the House but Mr. Obama, unlike his democratic predecessor has steadfastly refused to work with the House, and so the mess we are in...

And, finally....The big news out of the 2012 Democratic Convention was the absence of GOD in the Democratic Platform....

The resulting uproar forced the Dems to reinstate GOD in their platform. Even after the vote was taken on the floor of the convention putting the name of GOD back in the document, a chorus of Boos was heard from the delegates...shameful!
