Obama's Priorities...Out of Whack!

Leaders of countries throughout the world are converging on New York this week for the United Nations General Assembly. President's in years past, including President Obama, have made it a point to meet one-on-one with key leaders, allies of the United States.
This year, with the Middle East in crisis, uprising against the U.S., the president, who should be focusing on this foreign policy issue, is instead in full campaign mode. He will not meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, our staunchest ally in the Middle East, nor Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi who has given a new meaning to U.S.-Egyptian relations, “You’re not an ally — you’re a friend.” Whoops!
The president seems to view the Middle East situation as, as he put it, "just another bump in the road," which is how he views the economy problem.
Instead of focusing on America's security issues as they relate to the Middle East he has since the crises erupted resulting in the deaths of four American diplomats President Obama went campaigning, appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, hobnobbed with the likes of singers Beyonce' and Jay-Z and now, instead of meeting with U.S. allies and friends, the president will sit sit down on the couch with the ladies of  the daytime TV talk show "The View."

Seems Whoopi Goldberg is more important than Mr. Netanyahu. Priorities, Mr. President, priorities.
