Sandy Is Obama's Katrina: So-Called Mainstream Media Nowhere To Be Seen

Remember when Hurricane Katrina hit the New Orleans area on  Monday, August 29, 2005. President Bush signed a $10.5 billion relief package within four days of the hurricane, and ordered 7,200 active-duty troops to assist with relief efforts. The media blasted Bush for taking so long to get help to the area,
On October 30, 2012 Hurricane Sandy hit the Northeast (New York and New Jersey in particular. President Obama made a quick trip to New Jersey for a photo op before jetting of to Las Vegas for a campaign stop. He told the Hurricane victims the government was there for them with all its resources. Ooops...here were are December and the people of Staten Island and Manhattan are still wondering where the help is...and the media? After trashing President Bush over a mere four day reaction time to Katrina, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, et al. are AWOL on the government's total failure on Hurricane Sandy...Media Bias? Don't put our guy in a bad light? Out of sight, out of mind? Well, it's not out of sight or the minds of the people who are still suffering.

Storm-ravaged New Yorkers say President Obama’s promise to cut red tape and get them aid in the aftermath of Sandy has proven to be hot air.
