Not surprisingly, President Obama is out to pick a fight with the NRA over gun control. The president jumped on the campaign trail again today, taking his argument to Minnesota. Read More Obama Faces Off With The NRA . 

To some degree I have to agree with Obama on this one. I have no problem with a National, International or universal (let's check the Martians, too) background check. No big deal, if you have nothing to hide. True, criminals are not going to apply for a gun legally. That's the problem with this whole thing. Law abiding gun owners are going to abide by the law. Criminals are going to get their guns from other criminals, off the black market or steal them from the law abiding gun owners. No matter what you do, there will be guns in the hands of the wrong people. Get rid of the high powered so-called assault weapons. Even the law abiding people don't need them. Neither do they need high capacity magazines. Again, criminals will find a way to get them. Allow handguns, shotguns, hunting and low caliber rifles...we won't be infringing on any one's Second Amendment rights. Take away guns and only criminals will have guns.

Not to poke fun at our president, you understand, but it seems his shooting and throwing prowess 
is lacking somewhat on the macho side of things.....just a subtle observation on my part.
