Tax Dollars to an Unfriendly Friend and a Snub to a True Friend
President Obama and his administration continue to do dumb things...the latest refusing to negotiate with Republicans and allowing the Obama authored sequestration bill to take effect last week.
And, you remember, Obama recently presented the Egyptians with a fleet of four F-16 fighter aircraft, despite shaky relations with Egyptian president and former Muslim Brotherhood official Mohammed Morsi. President Morsi's past condemnations of Israel should have given the Obama Administration pause in our relations with Egypt going forward.

Now, we learn that new Secretary of State John Kerry, in his first diplomatic trip to the Middle East rewarded Egypt for Morsi's pledges of political and economic reforms by releasing $250 million in American aid to support the country's "future as a democracy." Read More: Taxpayer $$$ to Egypt

Sec. of State John Kerry |
Adding insult to injury on this first Kerry mission abroad is that he by-passing a stop ton Israel, further fueling rumors that the Obama administration is not as supportive of the Jewish State as has been U.S. policy for many, many years. It was thought that the announcement that President Obama would FINALLY visit Israel in late March, Kerry would visit first lay the groundwork for the president's visit. The following was posted on brookings.edu by Marvin Kalb prior to Kerry's departure. Read More: Kerry by-passes Israel
Another dumb move, along with running up the debt, no plan to relieve high unemployment, getting people of food stamp rolls and reducing the poverty rate...all which have risen substantially under President Obama.
